Our early years...

All you need is a computer and a modem to connect to the world and make a difference.

While working as the chief design engineer for a local company back in the early 90's I was amazed at the number of clients, namely small businesses that were being turned away because their projects were not considered big or profitable enough.

After examining all angles I realized that not only could I help those smaller businesses, but I could do so at a much lower cost than the larger agencies were charging. I invested what I had into a new startup company and began offering Web Design & Technical Consulting services to small businesses.

As word of mouth began to spread I soon had all the business I could handle. Our clients ranged from Real Estate Agents, Mom and Pop businesses and even two local radio stations.

In 2003 we began helping our clients with their eMarketing efforts by designing effective online campaigns including custom landing pages and promotional emails for their customers. In 2005 we launched our new Graphic Design division which can handle a variety items for customers ranging from business cards & brochures to fliers and print advertisements, right through to corporate brand design & development services.

Finally in 2008 we launched our Social Media marketing team in order to help our clients manage their brand.

It is hard to believe that we are about to embark on our 23rd year. Looking back at all the clients we have helped and friends we have made we are proud to be a part the community and look forward to where the next 20 years takes us.

Supporting local businesses & agencies for over twenty years

  • September

    Guildernet was founded

    In its inception, Guildernet was a full service IT agency. Offering custom built PC's, PC repair, network and server installs as well as web development services. As time moved on the primary focus turned to web design and development.

  • May

    Marketing team formed

    In working with existing and new clients we noticed that many of them were in need of some basic marketing functions. It was at this time that we leveraged our experience in working with marketing teams in larger organizations and used that experience to benefit our clients.

  • October

    Graphic Design team formed

    As the requests for help with marketing continued to grow, the need for a dedicated graphic design team was needed. The team assists clients with everything from logo creation to business cards, signs, magazine / newspaper advertisements, custom shirts and even the design of promotional items.

    Dedicated eMarketing & Social Media team formed

    As Internet usage continued to grow accompanied by the explosion in Social Media we understood that the development of a digital marketing team would be needed to help our clients manage their digital presence as well as interact with their customers on a more personal level.

  • February

    The revolution of interactive web sites

    It was clear to us in early 2011 that customers and users were starting to expect more form a web presence than static content. There was a desire to interact with websites in ways that traditional sites could not offer. In addition some clients were looking for the ability to update content quickly themselves which resulted in our designing custom content management systems for some clients.
